A Bell for the School House

In June of 1856, as our new School House is approaching completion, the subject of providing a bell for it should receive the attention of the “powers that be.” It has been said that there is a large bell in Hampton, which would be suitable for the purpose, and which can be had at a reasonable rate.— Would it not be well to procure it, or do the people want a bran, spick and span new one?
